25 Years at the Bar: A Quarter of a Century of Commitment to Law and Clients
On September 1st, 2000, I took the lawyer’s oath:
“I swear loyalty to the King, obedience to the Constitution and to the laws of the Belgian people, never to deviate from the respect due to the courts and public authorities, and never to advise or defend any cause which I do not believe to be just in my soul and conscience.”
A month later, on October 1st, 2000, I was officially admitted to the Bar, at the dawn of a new century.
Twenty-five years have passed since that defining moment.
Twenty-five years during which I have had the honor and responsibility of standing by my clients, defending their rights, and giving them a voice in court.
A Career Shaped by Rigor and Humanity
Being a lawyer is not only about pleading or advising. It is about listening, understanding, and finding pragmatic solutions to often complex and sensitive situations.
For 25 years, I have chosen to practice this profession with a dual focus: technical excellence and a strong human dimension.
Specialization and Commitment
Over the years, I have naturally specialized in road traffic law and litigation, where precision and swift intervention are essential.
I have also been trained and accredited in collaborative law and mediation, guided by a passion for optimization and the search for solutions tailored to each situation.
25 Years – and Beyond
This anniversary is both an opportunity to reflect on the path I have taken and to look ahead.
Law evolves, society changes, and the legal profession must adapt while remaining faithful to its fundamental values: independence, loyalty, and integrity.
I am still driven by the same energy as when I started: the will to defend, to analyze, to innovate, and to provide concrete answers to the legal challenges of today and tomorrow.
🎉 Thank you to all those who have placed their trust in me over the past 25 years.
It is a privilege to stand by your side, and a true honor to have practiced this profession for a quarter of a century.
